2026-10-10Troubleshooting for multi‑drop 485 bus communication failure

  1. Check power‑supply voltage first.

  2. Test each sensor individually and assign distinct slave addresses to ensure single‑unit normal operation.

  3. 485 bus requires two terminating resistors at both bus ends with resistance matching cable characteristic impedance. Terminating resistors may be omitted for short cables under 300 m.

  4. 485 hub can be used to resolve insufficient driving capacity.
