We were honored to host H.E. AWADH BAQUWAIR (Vice‑Ministerial Rank), Member of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman, together with AHMED BATAMIRA, Columnist of Oman Al‑Watan Newspaper, at BWSENSING recently.

The delegation was accompanied by Ms. Chen Luna (Foreign Affairs Officer, China‑Arab Reform and Development Research Center) and Ms. Xu Yunyun (Director, Wuxi Foreign Affairs Translation Center). Our CEO Mr. Wang and CTO Mr. Shi led in‑depth discussions, followed by a joint site tour to the International Innovation Center for Micro‑Nano Systems of Southeast University.

Against the backdrop of upgraded China‑Oman strategic ties, the Sultan’s historic state visit marks a new chapter after 48 years, prioritizing cooperation across energy, investment, industry, AI and high‑technology. Building on the Belt and Road Initiative and Wuxi‑Oman friendship‑city ties, we aligned our talks with Oman Vision 2040, the national strategy for economic diversification away from oil‑dependency.
During the briefing, we shared BWSENSING’s global field‑proven inertial‑sensing use‑cases covering new energy, smart mining, geological hazard monitoring, construction machinery, smart cities and heritage‑structure protection.

Our full‑range inertial product portfolio — from industrial‑grade through strategic‑grade, including MEMS devices, fiber‑optic gyros, micro‑INS and Beidou‑inertial integrated navigation solutions — was showcased to the guests. We had fruitful conversations on MEMS chip development, customized perception‑system solutions and Middle‑East market adaptation. Both sides envisioned a potential cooperation hub anchored in Oman, serving markets across Asia, Africa and Europe.
At Southeast University’s micro‑nano platform, a joint Wuxi‑university research facility with an 8‑inch MEMS R&D line, the delegation reviewed capabilities for inertial‑sensor development & validation. Key topics covered micro‑nano technology innovation, industry‑university‑research commercialization and joint engineering‑talent development.
This visit opens new doors for pragmatic China‑Arab collaboration in MEMS and IoT sensing. We look forward to exploring joint platforms for technology transfer, technology achievement commercialization, local manufacturing and talent incubation, supporting Oman’s high‑tech industrial upgrade under Oman Vision 2040.

Moving ahead, BWSENSING will continue advancing high‑precision inertial‑sensing core technologies, partnering with top academic institutions, and facilitating China‑Arab high‑tech industrial exchange as we bring Chinese sensor innovations to the Middle‑East and beyond.
